Introduction

 

TAREA FINAL

El proyecto docente que me propongo desarrollar está basado en el uso de soportes web y elementos multimedia en lenguas extranjeras, concretamente, en la elaboración de un blog educativo. Es, sin duda, un instrumento privilegiado, estimulante y ameno, para áreas como el aprendizaje de idiomas, en mi caso, en la que estoy especializada: la lengua inglesa.

Mi objetivo es crear una nueva plataforma de comunicación interactiva entre los alumnos y yo, como profesora, como complemento enriquecedor en el proceso enseñanza-aprendizaje de la lengua inglesa. La idea es poder incluir no sólo actividades y tareas para que realicen los alumnos, sino también participar con ellos en la elaboración de propuestas, artículos, información etc. que implique, además del trabajo del estudiante, sus reflexiones y búsqueda de conocimientos según sus intereses. Sus aportaciones individuales serán importantes tanto para el resto de los compañeros como para mí. Se trata de una herramienta con la que pretendo encauzar y potenciar el estímulo comunicativo y creativo de todos los que trabajamos en el ámbito docente.

Los contenidos serán amplios y variados, intentando aprovechar al máximo los recursos que ofrece esta herramienta, de manera que sea un elemento educativo práctico, original, interactivo con el fin de que los alumnos se muevan en este ámbito comunicativo más allá de sus aulas. El hecho de que se sientan protagonistas en la construcción de su propio proceso de aprendizaje, les estimula y fomenta su creatividad. Los contenidos serán actuales, de manera que sientan interés por ellos pudiendo incluir en el blog actividades propias. Es una forma de que se sientan implicados en esta nueva experiencia. Estará destinado a reforzar los contenidos curriculares de alumnos de Secundaria, concretamente del nivel de 3º ESO.

Las actividades que quiero incluir en mi Blog, además de un archivador de textos con referencias gramaticales de temas explicados en el aula para consulta o textos informativos o proyectos creados en clase, es la combinación de otros recursos web como los audiovisuales (proyección de un vídeo en inglés) que resultan muy atractivos para ellos, incluyendo enlaces interesantes sobre temas diversos. Asimismo, podrán realizar ejercicios que refuercen el desarrollo de contenidos en los diferentes ámbitos o destrezas (writing, reading, listening, speaking). Incluiré imágenes que ayudan no sólo a ilustrar los contenidos, sino también a atraer la atención de los alumnos. Propondré otras tareas de traducción o sugerencias de lecturas de textos o libros complementarios, y expondré interrogantes que conduzcan a un debate, comentario o búsqueda de información. Revisaré y resolveré las dudas que surjan, valorando la autonomía y los hábitos de trabajo diarios.

Algunas actividades me permitirán explorar o verificar el estado de los alumnos en cuanto a conocimientos previos, actitudes, expectativas, al momento de iniciar una experiencia educativa, así como detectar logros, avances y dificultades para retroalimentar la práctica. En este sentido, lo considero una herramienta beneficiosa para el nuevo proceso de aprendizaje, ya que posibilita prevenir obstáculos y señalar progresos.

También incorporaré apuntes, información o documentación para organizar alguna excursión o viaje de estudios, desarrollo de proyectos de investigación como Cazas del Tesoro.

Entre los recursos TIC que voy a utilizar para este proyecto educativo, tendrán prioridad los elementos multimedia, utilizando el lenguaje audiovisual acompañado de actividades o tareas. Insertaré vídeos  (Youtube), presentaciones de diapositivas (Slideshare), enlaces de diccionarios online (pronunciando los sonidos y diccionario visual) o bibliotecas virtuales, animaciones, ejercicios didácticos interactivos, juegos variados y podcasts, radio, prensa o televisión en lengua inglesa. Recursos para practicarla a través de las canciones y músicos favoritos. Insertar hipervínculos y archivos de voz. Aunque incorporaré secuencias didácticas ya elaboradas por otros profesores, incluiré tareas diseñadas y elaboradas por mí. Todas ellas destinadas a que mis alumnos trabajen y desarrollen sus competencias básicas del currículum.

Este proyecto implica un cambio en la metodología que he venido utilizando  previamente, que afectará de manera directa a mi alumnado, ya que tendrán a su alcance un material complementario al libro de texto: el ordenador. Podrán realizar tareas en formato digital: elaboración de una narración o cartel digital ,diapositivas que puedan subir a la Red o exponer oralmente en el aula, podcasts…. Intentando motivarles, adaptaré las tareas y proyectos teniendo en cuenta la diversidad, trabajando con aplicaciones que respondan a diferentes ritmos e intereses de aprendizaje del alumnado. Será un espacio de participación de los alumnos (proyectos, actividades, tareas...) de manera que puedan editar sus propias producciones convirtiéndoles en protagonistas y observadores de sus progresos.

 Seleccionaré las estrategias metodológicas que impliquen la participación activa y creativa de los estudiantes a lo largo del proceso didáctico, no sólo a nivel individual, sino también a través de trabajos colaborativos. De esta manera, los estudiantes tienen la oportunidad de desarrollar competencias más complejas que las que pueden realizar de forma individual (por ejemplo, habilidades y actitudes como argumentación, crítica reflexiva, respeto de opiniones adversas, comunicación respetuosa …) El trabajar colaborativamente les facilita la comprensión de contenidos y esta plataforma se convierte así en una herramienta práctica donde pueden compartir con los demás sus conocimientos, intereses, necesidades, ideas, gustos, etc.

Mi intención es animarles a que se familiaricen con esta nueva herramienta, con el fin de que les sea útil en su aprendizaje, y por supuesto, en su posterior trabajo profesional que todos los estudiantes deberían conocer. Será una ventana abierta a todos ellos para que haya un feedback fluido y enriquecedor.

REFLEXIÓN FINAL

Comencé mi proyecto rediseñando el trabajo del blog ya elaborado previamente. Intenté aclarar y definir los objetivos didácticos que quería conseguir, revisando los contenidos para aprovechar al máximo los recursos que ofrece esta herramienta. De esta forma, me planteé centrarme en el blog de aula, integrando nuevos elementos: enlaces educativos de interés, archivos de audio, vídeo, y elaborando una página de trabajo colaborativo (webquest) como una buena estrategia educativa. De esta manera, la metodología planteada es básicamente de trabajo interactivo en el que yo como profesora sirvo de guía reforzando en el alumno el auto aprendizaje y proporcionándole materiales y contenidos útiles para su trabajo, además de una retroalimentación constante. En este sentido y en un futuro me plantearé aprovechar otra de las tecnologías asociadas con la Web 2.0 que es la sindicación de contenidos o RSS. De esta manera los estudiantes podrán incluir en sus Blogs el RSS de mi blog y así actualizarse permanentemente con las últimas entradas que publique y viceversa, facilitándome el control y revisión de los trabajos que asigne a los alumnos que involucren su publicación en blogs.Ha sido una labor muy laboriosa y complicada en ocasiones, ya que parece inevitable toparse con dificultades que ralentizan mucho el trabajo. En cualquier caso, éste me resultó más ágil y sencillo al haber manejado los recursos con anterioridad. Además de explorar un terreno absolutamente nuevo para mí y aprender una base con la que emprender nuevos proyectos, también me ha sido útil mi papel de alumna para refrescar el tópico de que “se aprende siempre de los errores” y que las instrucciones deben ser leídas tranquila y minuciosamente. Mis propuestas de mejora para el futuro consistirán en entrenar y reforzar estos aspectos, sin olvidar que la autodisciplina es fundamental para superar las dificultades que se presenten en el camino. Sin duda, y como suelo repetir a mis alumnos con frecuencia, el refuerzo continuo de los aprendizajes logrados es necesario para construir sobre ellos los nuevos. Seguiré este mensaje  para lograr mi meta, renovar mi metodología de trabajo  haciendo publicaciones que enriquezcan mi labor como docente pues de esa manera facilito también a mis alumnos una fuente de aprendizaje enriquecedor y ameno. Si consigo lo que realmente me motiva y me hace progresar, entonces el esfuerzo habrá merecido la pena.

•  Activity 5: A PICTURE WITH STORY

   -- Ask your grandfather/mother to choose a relevant photograph
       taken when he/she was younger. After getting information about it :
       when and where it was taken, who are the people in the photo, the
       moment or circumstances it was taken, why he/she has chosen this
       picture, and, if possible, an anecdote or short story related to it.
   -- Scan the photograph and write the information.
   -- Prepare your "gandparents´picture's story" in power point.

   taught you, what you have learn from them, and any other detail that pays a tribute

   to grandparents.
